IPL 2022 Mega-Auction: Top 5 Uncapped Players likely to go for big prices in bidding war
The Indian uncapped players will be watched out for in the upcoming event of the bidding war. The mega-auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season is scheduled for February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru. The objective of IPL is to be a place where talent meets opportunity. We all know that India is a cricket-loving nation with no limit of talent.
The young guns of India have come a long way to get this recognition. The IPL has been a platform for the younger stars who are groomed under some of the legends in the cricketing arena and they can also upskill themselves for the future where they might play for the country one day.
IPL is a fantastic opportunity for the young generation to showcase their talent and worth. The young guns of India who have not played any international matches have a chance to deliver and catch the eyes of millions of people, BCCI and the selectors. For some players, an IPL contract has been a life-changing one also.
Several cricketers had faced torrid times before making their debuts in IPL. These cricket players struggled to meet even the basic necessities. But due to their hard work and quality talent, they got a contract in IPL and their lives changed dramatically after that.
The following five uncapped players from India can cause a bidding war in this year’s mega-auction of the Indian Premier League. These 5 players did well in IPL 2021 for their respective franchises.

Avesh Khan (Base Price INR 20 Lakh)
The Delhi Capitals (DC) might look to retain Avesh Khan in their team for this season. Avesh has been named in the Indian team recently which will play two limited-overs series against West Indies, starting on February 6. The last IPL season was a fruitful one for the pace bowler from Madhya Pradesh. He picked up 24 wickets in just 16 innings with an economy rate of 7.37.
The tall fast bowler hits the right length and generates some extra bounce from the surface. Avesh Khan has always been in the eyes of the selectors and he was very close to making his international debut against New Zealand in the T20I series that India played at home after a disappointing World T20 2021.
Avesh Khan was the highest wicket-taker for Madhya Pradesh in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy. He had taken 35 wickets in just seven matches.
Khan was the highest wicket-taker for Delhi Capitals and second overall in the last season of IPL. He took 24 wickets in just 16 innings.
He was even named in the reserves for the World Test Championship (WTC) 2019-21 Final and the Test series against England.
