In a power-packed display in T20 cricket, Riyan recently etched his name in the annals of T20 cricket history by becoming the first player to score six consecutive half-centuries in a single tournament. The setting for this remarkable achievement was the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023, during a gripping encounter between Assam and Kerala at Mumbai's Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy on October 27.

Assam convincingly defeated Bengal by eight wickets and stormed into the quarter-finals of the T20 tournament.
