Rohit Sharma second-fastest opener to 11,000 runs in international cricket after Tendulkar

11000 - Rohit Sharma completed 11,000 runs as an opener in international cricket. He is the fourth Indian to achieve this milestone.

2 - Rohit Sharma is the second-fastest player to reach 11,000 runs in international cricket in 246 innings as an opener. Only Sachin Tendulkar has achieved this milestone in fewer innings (241) than Rohit Sharma.

3000 - Rohit Sharma completed 3000 runs in Test cricket in his 74th innings. He is the tenth fastest Indian player to reach 3000 runs in Test cricket.

95 - In this Test match, James Anderson overtook Sachin Tendulkar in terms of most home Tests by a player as he is playing his 95th Test match in England.


49 - Having scored 61 runs in the second innings of this Test match, Cheteshwar Pujara equalled Gundappa Viswanath by scoring 49 fifty-plus scores for India in Test cricket.


4000 – India skipper Virat Kohli completed 4000 away runs in Test cricket in 96 innings.
